I am a bit unsure on movement.
Everyone has a SPD but is that unrelated to how far they can move?
It's just that I note in the rules P19 that under Movement a fighter moves 10cm for 1AP and can do that three times/round (so can move 30cm/round). Is that correct that every fighter has the same movement in this game?

Yes, it's quite right.
All fighters move the same, 10 cm/4 in.
Some fighters have a special ability that provides them with a bonus +5 cm/2 in for their Move action though (Vassiliev and his unicycle for example).
The SPD doesn't affect the Movement, it's true, but it is a very important stat nonetheless. It is mainly used for interruption purposes and the Dodge reaction (you'll see soon enough that interruption is very important in the game )
