Hi All,
A few guy's from my gaming group are starting this wunderful game and last night we had a first game.
There we're a lot of rules question but after looking it upo in the small rulebook averything cleared up fine.
There 2 mayor questions still unclear, hope you guy's can help.
Its kinda about the way Melee and Shooting goes and if we played it right. Here's what happend:
So we did the charts rundown from the book.
1-Yuri charged Angela
2-Angela choose the Response Reaction payed a AP
3-We both ruled a D6 and added our CBT
4-Juri won
5-Juri rolls 4D6 versus Angela's VIG of 4 and a 5 for location
He rolled a 1,2, 5 and 6 so he does 2 wounds against Angela's VIG
Did we do everything right (we played without any extra miniature rules just to get the basics down)?
Now the shooting (this was the turn before the charge)
1-Yuri throws his Throwing Knives at Angela
2-He rolls 4D6 versus Angela's SPD
(this was the confusing part, we aren't sure if it is a Characteristic or a Opposition Roll?)
We did the Characteristic Roll because the other steps say that you can alter you're Location roll with succeses and with a
Opposition Roll you only roll 1 D6 :-)
3-Yuri rolled 4 Succeses
4-Rolled a 1 for location
5-This makes the Weapon Str(1) a Str(5) weapon?
Then it became blurry again.....
Do we roll 5D6 versus VIG Opposition Roll here?
We kinda thinked so because Step 7 Shooting says "Euch Succesful Strenght Roll".
6-Yuri rolled again 4 succeses so he does 4 wounds against the Location 1 we rolled before wich makes Angela very dead.
We weren't sure wenn to perform a Opposition Roll or a Charactaristic Roll.
None of us has the new Rulebook yet and we really hope that there is an example of a Combat or Shooting Attack explained, that's something that lacks in the smal rulebook :-(
So somebody please tell me if we did everything right, tonight is a new round of Eden!!
