Got a question to the charge action. In the new hardcover rulebook is missing the text "this action ist free but included in the maximum number of attack which may be made each round by the fighter." Why? Is there a change in the rules, so that a fighter who has 4 APs could make a charge (inclusive attack) and following two other attacks?
I asked this in german forum, but nobody there has recognised (or answered me) on the missing formulation.
Thanks
The text changed, as we wanted to explain the 'free' notion.
So on page 134, in the description of the Actions (third paragraph) : "[...] Certain actions are free, and so have no cost. A fighter who takes a free action therefore has nothing to pay for it, but must bear in mind that the other limitations of this action will apply (eg the type of action - see below)."
Now the Charge action includes a "free melee attack action" (second paragraph of said action), so it fits since a free action still counts in the limitation Smile
The only subtle change implied with this formulation is that now, when you're charging a deployed Yellow Gaki, you cannot make an Attack action right after the Charge, as you have already perform one Attack action (free, but il still is an Attack action and is therefore restricted by the ability of the Gaki).
OK. thank you for the quick reply.
