Fire (Burn) - Meliondor - 02-06-2010 09:00 PM

A short question if I understood it right with burning.
If a model burns I roll 3d6+1 dice. So I roll 3 dice first and get for example a 1, a 4, and a 5.
So I would roll 11 dice total (1+4+5+1). So 11 dice and I get a lot of results. Every result over Vigor is counted, not the rest.
So I normally burn only the legs and the body, right ? Then each limbs takes damage for each dice that shows its number - the armor of this limb.

Is this correct ? So I will never burn the head for example ?

I didn't understand it like you.

I understood something like you throw 3 dice, each result over the vigor is a CP. You roll another die to locate this damage.

And this is the point were we need something to clarify the rules :-).
It could be 3d6+1, so you roll 3d6 and get +1 to each roll and if you get over Vigor you see where the damage goes. But then the robots with 2 armor would be totally immune to fire, so I am not sure what ruling is right...

As I see it you roll 3 dice + the extra die to indicate location. Any of the first 3 which beat the Vig value of the target suffer wounds in the location indicated on the location die.

Mr Clock is right, but some more details :
- your dices have to be strictly over the VIGor
- Protection applies

He guys,
What happens when a model has more burn markers on him?
Do they stay there untill the next Intendancy round?
