RE: Cassarus creations
They look great! I'm especially fond of mr. bunnies - you've managed to make his face look very much like it was painted... with face paint.

You know what I mean. Big Grin

As a critique - I must say that I prefer the wider stripes that he has compared to the thinner ones on the molotov fellow.

The bases are also very well done - did you construct them yourself?

All in all, great job and thank you for sharing! Be sure to post the rest once you get them done Smile

RE: Cassarus creations
These look very nice and very 'Jokers', keep up the good work Smile
If you want to add something to your technic, I'd say : try to deepens your red shadows by adding some purple, even dark blue for the most concealed areas. Highlight your yellow on the upper parts and the edges and folds of the clothes with a mix of yellow and ivory or white. It helps creating contrasts.
(I hope it's clear, I'm not very good at explaining painting technics in french, so imagine in english Angel )

RE: Cassarus creations
Cheers guys!

Lemminkäinen: Yeah I think the wider stripes turned out better to Smile The bases are actually Tabans bases, I usually build my bases myself as I really enjoy base making and resin bases are almost always overpriced. But these were both reasonably cheap and looks really good.

Berf: Thanks!
Yeah the painting on these is a bit lacking, not painted anything for around 6 months^^
But blue to contrast the red sounds interesting, I will try that out. And I suspect I will do some more tweaking here and there on them, I've already repainted some parts of Yuri Tongue
Oh, and you explanations where just fine Smile

Cheers!

RE: Cassarus creations
Did some more painting last night.
Yuri got some more attention, more highlights and changed some colors, hard to get a good photo of him though.

Pic time!

RE: Cassarus creations
Good stuff! The bases continue to astound and the facepaint looks very sinister. Some deeper shadows or darklining to give sharper definition to the different details might be a good idea, though.

Finally, the street sign looks absolutely amazing! I really love the feel you've got going - very much a deranged post-apocalyptic Joker (from Batman) vibe.

RE: Cassarus creations
Brilliant stuff!

May I ask for the recipe for Alice's skin? It looks very nice.

For criticism, Jimmy's face and shoulder look like the paint for the highlight has been a tad thick. Also, hazard stripes on Freedom are a bit wobbly in places, though I do know how insanely hard they are to do perfectly straight. I do like how lively you've made the metal in the bot, though.

The overalls are very spot on, I feel. The dirt and the tone of the orange - they really do feel like they had been made of very heavy-duty, thick fabric that really suits the models. I also like the attention to detail and all the freehands that you put on all your minis. Makes them pop nicely. And the bases continue to be phenomenal!

Keep up the good work!

RE: Cassarus creations
Another great batch !
Especially fond of Alice, you did an excellent job there Smile
Jimmy and Freedom are very good too (although the little stripes on top of Freedom could be more straight, but it's really the only thing I could see needing improvement in your technic) Wink
