WIP Post Apoc/Near Future Board
So, been a long time coming but I finally have almost all the bits to make a post-apoc/near future board. I have very little storage/workspace so wanted to make something simple, but preferably a bit more exciting the the usual flat grey board I currently use. Most of it is random resin scenery from various places, the board itself is made from vinyl floor tiles (very much WIP) but I'm pleased with how it's shaping up. It's not quite as post-apocalypty as I'd like, but I wanted to keep it fairly generic for use with other games. The whole board is 3x3.

Here's a couple of views, the road section was a test piece but with some weathering and details (sewer drains, road markings etc) I think it will look pretty decent. Have since built up a few road sections to link together as well.

That's one sweet board! And using the vinyl tiles are genius! Durable and cheap.

The highway ramp looks a bit steep? In the action shot it seems to hold the minis well, though?

Resistance is non-futile.

RE: WIP Post Apoc/Near Future Board
It's fairly steep, bigger miniatures like Patriot would have a hard time staying upright but it's textured enough to hold a base. I kinda figure it'll end up being put along the length of the board, mostly to look cool rather than play any real part in the game.

Got a box in the post today with various spraypaint, etched brass, scatter and paint-pen things so I'm going to hunker down this weekend and try to get this finished! Then it will likely sit in a box and get used in six months time.

Haha, now there's a surprisingly realistic plan if I ever saw one Big Grin

Resistance is non-futile.
