![]() Special rules EDLC² batteries Some fighters possess cybernetic limbs. These limbs are fed by a battery (EDLC2 type) that allows them to work. By drawing in the battery energetic ressources, they can temporarily increase the strength of the cybernetic limb... but the battery ressources are not inexhaustible. When a fighter possess an «EDLC2 battery» equipment, its capacitance is represented by a number of blue circles. Each circle is named a «Battery Unit» (BU). Each time a fighter spends a BU (to pay the cost of a special ability…), he must check it on his reference card. A fighter cannot trigger a game effect requiring BU if his battery does not have enough unchecked BU to pay its cost. When a fighter gets 1 BU, he unchecks 1 BU on its reference card. If all his BU are unchecked he doesn’t get any BU. Enslavement All Robot fighters ignore the effects of the Fear condition. When creating your troop, you cannot recruit more Robot fighters than Pilot fighters. At the beginning of the first round, just before choosing the first player, you must assign each robot allied fighter to an allied Pilot. A Pilot cannot be assigned more than one Robot. Each Robot is then Enslaved to its Pilot. During the activation phase, a Robot fighter cannot be chosen to be activated or to interrupt an opponent fighter. It is automatically activated during the activation of the Pilot it is Enslaved to and you can perform the actions of both fighters in the order of your choice. If the Robot is already activated (by another game effect or by lack of AP) when the fighter he is Enslaved to is activated he is not re-activated. Electric Stick (perm) When a fighter loses at least 1 CP because of a Melee attack from Alice, he receives a Slowdown marker. Energetic transfer (action) (1BU) An allied fighter within 10cm of Alice can uncheck 1 BU. Leader (perm) Tactical cards cost you 1 less SP if Alice is your troop leader. Maternal bond (action) (1SP, 1/round) Alice earns a +1 CBT bonus until the end of the round. Anticipation (perm) If Alice is your troop leader, you can spend 1 less SP to cancel your opponent tactical cards. Jimmy (Human, Cyber, Pilot, 10 points) (30 mm) (Protection) PSI - 2/1 - ◯◯◯ - 1 CBT - 3/1 - ◯◯◯◯ - 2,3 VIG - 3/2 - ◯◯◯◯ - 4,5 SPD - 5/4 - ◯◯◯◯ - 6 Equipment : EDLC² battery (Tech) : ◯◯◯◯. Handyman (action) (1AP) A Robot allied fighter within 7,5cm of Jimmy is healed by 1 CP in the limb of your choice. Exploration subroutine (perm) (1BU, 2/match) Once deployment is completed, you can move (on the field) a piece of scenery that is not a Mission objective. The preparation phase’s restrictions about placing scenery are still applicable. You can not place scenery within 5cm of a fighter. Energetic boost (perm) (3BU, 1/match) You can activate this ability when an allied Robot fighter suffers wounds that incapacitate it. It remains on the field until the end of the intendancy phase and is activated as usual, even if it suffers other wounds that should incapacitate it. Freedom (Robot, 15 points) (30 mm) (Protection) PSI - 0 - ◯◯◯ - 1 CBT - 2 - ◯◯◯ - 2 VIG - 4 - ◯◯◯◯ - 3,4,5 SPD - 4 - ◯◯◯ - 6 Equipments : EDLC² battery (Tech) : ◯◯◯. Light plasteel armor (Pr/Tech) : Full+1. Sonic compressor (Blast/Tech). Uneven terrain progression algorithm (perm) Freedom considers that sceneries with the Obstuction(X) special rule do have the Obstuction(1) special rule instead. Moreover, Freedom has a +5cm bonus for any action requiring a movement (move action, charge, etc.) Strategic disruption (action) (1BU, 1/round) All opponent fighters within 10cm or less of Freedom are affected. During the following Tactical phase, all affected fighters cannot benefit from or be targeted by your opponent’s Tactical cards. Discrete (perm) When Freedom is the target of a ranged attack with shooting equipment, the CBT penalties inflicted by obstacles are doubled. Sonic compressor (perm) When Freedom performs a ranged attack with the Sonic compressor, the fighters located under the blast template don’t get injured. Until the end of the round, they consider that the white value of their SPD characteristic is equal to the red value of the same characteristic. Ashton (Human, Cyber, 30 points) (30 mm) (Destruction) PSI - 3/2 - ◯◯◯◯◯ - 1 CBT - 6/4 - ◯◯◯◯◯ - 2,3 VIG - 4/3 - ◯◯◯◯◯◯ - 4,5 SPD - 5/4 - ◯◯◯◯◯ - 6 Equipment : EDLC² battery (Tech) : ◯◯◯. ExoArmor X (Pr/Tech : Arms+1, Legs+1. Cybernetic force (perm) (1BU, 1/round) Ashton earns a +1 CBT bonus until the end of the round. Clearing debris (action) (1AP, 1/round) Remove a Devastated Area (that is not a Mission objective) in contact with Ashton. ExoArmor X (perm) (1BU) When Ashton is the target of a melee attack, and before resolving it, you can activate this ability. Ashton gets a +1 VIG bonus until the end of this attack. Implacable (perm) Ashton ignores the effects of the Slowdown condition. Courtney (Human, Cyber, 25 points) (30 mm) (Chaos) PSI - 3/2 - ◯◯◯◯ - 1 CBT - 5/3 - ◯◯◯◯◯ - 2,3 VIG - 4/3 - ◯◯◯◯◯ - 4,5 SPD - 4/3 - ◯◯◯◯◯ - 6 Equipment : EDLC² battery (Tech) : ◯◯◯◯. Electric gun (Shooting/Tech) : CBT-1, Range(20), Str(1). Synthetic armor (Pr) : Arms+1. Energetic weapon (perm) When Courtney performs a ranged shooting attack, the target’s equipments’ protection (Pr) value is lowered by 1 until the end of this attack. Cybernetic speed (perm) (1BU, 2/round) Courtney earns a +1SPD bonus until the end of the round. High voltage (action) (2BU, 1/round) Courtney performs a ranged shooting attack following the usual terms of this action. If the target loses at least 1CP because of this attack, it cannot perform any Movement or Charge action until the end of the round. Powerfull discharge (action) (1BU, 1/round) Courtney performs a ranged shooting attack following the usual terms of this action. For this action, her Electric gun gets Burn(1) and Str(2) instead of Str(1). |

Holy crap, this box looked so awesome that I ended up ordering it and therefore kinda starting Eden. *sigh* Way too many good games, way too little time. But yeah, the quality of the minis was utterly amazing. I love love love Alice.
