Hi!

In the last tournament we played, we had an important question with this card.

It can not be played on the last turn. This turn, we think that its always turn 5 (except one Bamaka mission).

In the tournament, we played with time limit. If I play that card on turn 4 (normally I can do, even if only 3 minutes of match are missing, right?) That round no player can play any of the objectives of the mission card. At that moment, time is running out and the game is finished.

What is right?

A. If you do not have time to play the 5th turn, the 4th round is considered the last and that tactical card can not be played.
B. No player gets points that round but both get the final points of the game (the holy relics, for example)
C. No player gets points that round or points for the mission at the end of the game, as it has come the time when the tactical card was in use.

Maybe this needs a 'house rule' for timed tournaments? A suggestion would be that it cannot be played in the last turn or if less than x minutes of the game time remain.

Where x = the time allocated per turn for the tournament (total game time/number of turns).

If it ends up that the time still runs out then I'd probably go for option B. This is as the card is in force during the round but the points for the whole game objectives are calculated after the game end and therefore after the card has expired.

I realise I'm not official but hopefully have added to the discussion constructively.

The problem is that in the rulebook, there is no time limit so the tactical card has no problem at all. But, in tounaments, it is almost compulsory to put on a time limit because there always are people incredibly slow, and when all the other matches have finished that person is in turn 3.

The idea of Kento is totally reasonable for me!

Well actually, the Tactical card's effects end in Stage 11, so after we count the VP (Stage 10), as stated in page 16. This the main issue there, so we're still working on the 'time' problem in tournament.
Kenton' solution is quite reasonable, I'll advise to use it until the staff sort it out.
