Eden´s third tournament in Valencia.

Next saturday, 8th of May, we will play the third tournament of Eden in Valencia. The tournament will be in Hobbytoons (C/ Braç dels Horts nº 18 Mislata). The tournament will be hold amongst a "convention" day with lots of different games and tournaments so we hope other people will be interested.

The rules to be followed in this tournament are:
- 100 pts.
- 5 matches
- each mission can be played only once per tournament
- Time: Once all the matches but one have finished, that last match will have 10 minutes to finish.
- not painted minis, but it is strongly advisable to have them painted (in the last tournament about half of the players had all the minis painted).


We will be about 10 players, and anyone who wants to see the game is invited!

Oh, I had forgotten about a couple of "house" rules we thought using during the tournament.

1- The first is about the "coup de bas" tactical card. Wulfila already posted the problem we had last tournament, and we have thought to forbid the use of this tactical card in the last 10 minutes (if you are the last match of the round).

2- The second one is about the contaminated area tactical card. In the last tournament we realized a player could use this tactical card to "suicide" their own minis to finish the match and winning avoiding the opponent to finish his mission. I think that is going against the soul of the game and we would like to avoid that concrete action.

Any thoughts about these rules? Do you think they are fair, unfair?

Hello everybody.

We were almost everybody who play Eden in Valencia, with the absence of Joserp. It was a funny tournament (but little hard for me).

The final ranking was:

1.- Mixtli (Jokers) 10/505
2.- Alok (ISC) 10/330
3.- Doomed (Jokers) 9/528
4.- Hector Barca (Bamaka) 9/490
5.- Wulfila (Matriarchy) 9/455
6.- Larkin (ISC) 6/393
7.- El_Darko (Matriarchy) 6/290

It seems the Jokers are dominating Valencia.

Joker's kingdom??? I did not win the tournament only with a bad dice roll Last turn, last mini, opposite speed roll, +1 for me and a draw is better for me. Alok, 6 in a dice. For me a 2.

Our lead sculptor will probably travel to Madrid next month for the Golden Demon... altough it is quite far from Valencia, maybe some of you will be there too ?
We could arrange some games of Eden then !

It would be great to know your lead sculptor and play a few games but I don´t know if any os us will go.

About the sponsorship, in July we want to organize a "big" Eden tournament so we will mail you about it. It will be performed in a festival with free accomodation so everybody is invited to come and visit Valencia and play a few games!

Ooh, more details please Joserp July is not so far away and travel is cheap if booked early enough.
