Something needs to be done about the spam
Seriously, it is completely ruining this forum.
I don't know the ins and outs of bot prevention, but at the very least, couldn't a regular user be given Mod status so they can handle the deletion of the current spam posts? I'll do it if no one else wants to, but I'm sure it is preventing people from becoming active on the forum. Look at everyone who introduced themselves to the forum and then disappeared. |

I agree. This is intolerable.
As an aside - kitchen spam? Who does that? I mean, who falls for it? Resistance is non-futile. |

The post and users have been deleted, sorry for the mess. We would have to move to another forum platform to avoid this  MyBB seems to be really prone to hackers... Well I will investigate for other antispam modules |

Given how quickly it returned, maybe a better forum platform would be the best solution.
Perhaps the same model as the french forum? |
