RE: September news
Oh wow, Piotr looks absolutely amazing! Really loving the look and the paintjob is stellar.

Benedict looks a bit basic, though his gun is certainly quirky. Not spectacular but a good, clean design so I expect I'll end up owning him eventually Smile

Can't wait to see the Wolf and master, though. Oh, and the stats!

RE: September news
More pics are emerging - hooray!

Some terrain:

Really liking these. Small pieces of terrain work extremely well for Eden and there's a nice variety here.

The true scotsman:

Very nicely done. One of my favourite Convoy minis. The ISC head looks a tad strange, but I suppose it would.

Then, the new stuff for the Hord:

Utterly love these two! The master looks lovely and the wolf has fun character. Definitely going to buy this pair ASAP.

And finally, Ndulu for the Bamaka:

Whoah. Rather extreme look. Not bad, but not my favourite, either. I do like the design of the saw quite a bit, though.

Here's a link to the thread on the French forums with more pics of everything:

RE: September news
The new cards are available in the French side of Eden-the-game site:
http://eden-the-game.com/index.php?modul...ut&lang=fr

My French is still rather non-existent, but at least Benedict seems rather fresh. He can't fight at all but has a gun that puts permanent markers the size of the explosion template onto the battlefield. Models can move from one counter to another but risk a teleportation mishap (one in six chance of getting three damage everywhere(!)). If I understood correctly, also enemy models can use the teleports. (Dearly hoping for Berf's true lowdown on the stats, though)

Freaky!

Also, Ndulu can apparently raise any of his stats permanently at the cost of two AP. And the new Hord dude is a beast. Figuratively, that is.

I can see a force of

Savage Master 30 (the new guy)
Beastmaster 20
Black Wolf 15
Mireling 15
Chitinous Hound 10
Lycal 5
Lycal 5

Should be fun Smile

RE: September news
A Teleport gun is pretty cool, and very unexpected! I'm wondering if Courtney could push an enemy through a teleport blast... that could be fun! Ooooo someone translate it please!

Also, 30 points for the new Hord dude, he must be good. Can't wait to see what he does!

edit: The Scottish guy had better have some suitably Scottish abilities!

RE: September news
Ooh, thank you! Piotr seems to open up some very interesting possibilities for the Jokers. An absolutely awesome profile in that it makes an impact on the whole faction, I think. Very, very nice!

RE: September news
Lonesome seems a bit strange - what does "The chosen action does count in the maximum number of actions Frantz can perform each round." mean? I mean, naturally that reference to Frantz is a typo, but how can a free Movement action affect the maximum number of actions available?

Other than that - glorious! This wave is superbly executed, I think. Really nice releases with the innovative Benedict, the Hord and Joker releases really giving the factions new options and with two solid models for the Bamaka and the Convoy. Very nice!

RE: September news
"free movement action" = a movement action that does not cost any AP

"does count into limit" = you can perform a max of 3 movement/1 charge/2 attacks per turn, each at it#s very own cost of AP, while you only have 3 AP with a fighter. so you cannot do all of the 5 possible actions, because you would need 6 AP in total (charge costs 2 AP, the other two 1 AP each, plus charge uses up one of your possible attacks). But even if you would have 4 or more AP (possible sometimes) you could make 3 movements at the max. So if you use lonesome, that would use up one of your possible movement actions, but you don't have to pay AP for it. It's a core mechanic of the game. Another example for that mechanic would be the charge: it uses up one of your possible attacks for that round.
