Starting the ISC, looking for leader
So I'm starting the ISC after some experience with my Jokers.
The Starterbox is already in but I'm searching for a good leader... Can't make up my mind.... I choose the Grey Shogun, the Yellow Komuso and the the Grey Kitsune. The Kitsune is a great fighter, but I'm not convinced about his special abbilities. The Yellow Komuso, has some nice combo's with a Gaki My favorite is the Grey Shogun, he's a great fighter, has a high PSI and some nice abblities, but at 40 points.... Also intrested in the almost al the Carmin miniatures (I like Fighters). Would it be wise to take an all Fighters group? We play 150 points at our Gaming group and that would allow me to field 4 miniatures (Shogun, Daymio, Ronin and Kunoich) against some players who can field lots more ( if I play my Jokers I field 7 and have the option to spawn 2 more) |

RE: Starting the ISC, looking for leader
From Jokers to ISC - that's probably the biggest change available in Eden
![]() Yellow Komuso I have no first-hand experience with but on paper he looks very, very good. Not at all as killy as your other two candidates but a terrific distraction piece. The other two I've faced, so I can maybe offers some more insight on them. Grey Kitsune has the absolutely huge ability to cancel an opposing Tactical Card. It's costly, yes, but then again ISC has a lot of SP. For example, cancelling the card that makes you reveal your secret mission can be a game changer. He is also a very good fighter. Grey Shogun is an even better fighter but not quite as versatile. His ability to make a friend win an opposition roll has some cool applications. It combos very nicely with the Green Mamushi, for example. I would also suggest looking into Blue Kami or Blue Rikishi. Both are very nearly indestructible, keep your other dudes healthy and allow for some fancy maneuvering - the Kami by blowing up scenery elements and Rikishi by pushing stuff around. My regular opponent has used him more to push his own models than mine and that can be very powerful in case your opponent has carefully placed his models to be out of harm's way. So even the possibility of the push may force him to place his models non-optimally. But yeah, Carmins are good stuff. Ronin is an absolute terror and his Smokescreen is a game changer. He can be killed however (five to anywhere but torso kills him in one shot) so some care must be taken. Samurai isn't quite as devastating but definitely a scary fighter and is a bit more durable. Onryo looks extremely interesting and is cheap (though a bit fragile) and Hadakauma is fast and very powerful which sounds like a really nasty combination. Resistance is non-futile. |

Thx for answering lemminkäinen
Ok got the starter, black shinobi an the grey shogun. Next is the blue rikishi. Didnt think much of that one or the blue kami till I noticed the armour :-) the kami has armour 3, he's very hard to kill. Also will order the carmin oniro and i'm reading trough the como of thr yellow gaki with ubume |

Ooh, Black Shinobi - cool! Do you have plans on how you're going to go about the Hologram?
And yeah Rikishi with VIG5 and armour 2 everywhere and Kami with armour 3 everywhere - when facing them, I usually don't even bother trying to kill them. Resistance is non-futile. |

The Grey Daimyo is nice and stompy and can regenerate your SP. I've only used it once and the back banners scare me.
The Yellow Komuso is amazingly annoying (so my opponents tell me ![]() |

A transparent version of the modell would be cool. But I think I would go with a second miniature, too.
